This involves spoilers, but that shouldn't really matter because this is a Mario title.

What is this?
New Super Mario Bros. Wii is new addition to the New Super Mario Bros franchise being released on the Wii later this year.

Storyline
Bowser steals Princess Peach.

Gameplays
New Super Mario Bros. Wii a single, or multiplayer (up to 4 players) experience, being described as being both a co-operative and a competitive game.
You are able to play as Mario, Luigi, a Yellow Toad and lastly a Blue Toad.
The Wii-Remote is held on it's side in order to play. I guess it's probably like getting Super Mario Bros. on virtual console controls.
Items like the Fire Flower are confirmed additions and the new Propeller Suit (let's you fly), the Penguin Suit and the Ice Flower (to freeze enemies) Players will also be able to ride on Yoshis, who are able to swallow enemies and flutter in the air.

Characters
Characters such as Mario, Luigi, Bowser and Princess Peach are in.
New characters such as the Blue and Yellow toad are in.
And old characters such as the Koopalings and Bowser Jr are in.

Yo sup. As you can blatently see, I've revamped Nintendo Extreme again and I'm making it tons better.

I'm sick of all these small websites having these crazy rules about swearing and such. Let the good times roll, I say. Do what you please.

I'm re-doing the rules and shit, look back at it within the next few days for an update on what you can't do. Simple as.

If you got any questions at all, contact me via PM or use the new Contact Form we've got working.

I'll be putting everything back up very shortly, just bear with me. I'm working at a steady pace. Hopefully I'll get this place much more casual and active. This site is a fucking ghost town guys.

Alright, I'll update in a bit. Looking for staff to help with content and updates. Let me know if you're interested.

These games will release in 16:9 widescreen support and wii remote controls.

There's a double sided argument to this. Generally it consists of "Fuck New Play Control, it's just Nintendo recycling their Gamecube games for profit." Or "I think i'll check out some Gamecube Games"

I'm on the "I think i'll check out some Gamecube Games" side of it.
I've already gotten Pikmin, and all i can say is that i think it is a good idea. Probably not the best idea. But still a pretty decent idea. I do plan on getting the Metroid Prime series in particular, they seem like a good series from what i have heard.

And, i'd like Legend of Zelda - WindWaker to re-release or Luigi's Mansion... Or Super Mario Sunshine.

What are your thoughts? Like it loathe it? What game should be added to the list? Etc?

This is a really freaking fun game, I love how well Nintendo integrated the touch screen in this game, and the fact that simple motions create a plethora of outcomes for attacks and actions. I'm about half-way through it, and its just awesome . Do any of you have/ played this game? What do you guys think about it?

I found my ds weird, I only had like 4 games and half were pokemon, I had Pokemon mystery dungeon and Pokemon Diamond, Nintendogs (I got because friend told how good it was evryday untill I was sick) and some laywer game whicj was rubbish.

In the end all I used my DS for was to play Pokemon Ruby and Warioworld.

Oh and a yugioh game, which, with hindsight I regret -_-.

Yeah I've been gone for a long while. I can explain though.
My teachers started own'ing me with the homework leaving me to stay off the computer for a while.
Half are gone due to the flu. >_>

Anywho, not the reason why I'm making a topic.
I've been trying to get computer projects in, but the program I'm using isn't doing its job and the instructions that came with it suck a lot. I was close to finishing one when it loop-holed my game. It screwed it to the point where I pulled a reroll and deleted it.

Until I can find/get/steal a new gaming program nothing's getting done.

So how's everyone? <_<

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

This game is one of my favorites on the Wii.

Story:

If you haven't played it at all, this will contain spoilers.

A little more than ten years after the events of Ocarina of Time, Link works in a little village called Ordon Village. The village is attacked by "Shadow Monsters" and kidnaps the village kids along with Lilia, a girl Link is fond of. Link jumps into action to save the kids and defeat the Shadow/Twilight creatures.

Link is pulled into the Twight Realm where he then turns into a wolf. He wakes up in a jail and meets a Twilight creature named Midna. She is actually a helping hand for Link because she wants to overthrow the new over attacker of the Twilight realm. The evil villains name is Zant.

(Taken from ZTPP) Midna explains (after two Fused Shadows are found) that the Twilight King Zant is trying to change the Twilight Realm and Hyrule into a land of darkness using an evil power. Zant is a member of the Twili, a race of beings descended from magicians banished to the Twilight Realm by the great Light Spirits of Hyrule. Midna is a Twili who is searching for a weapon called the Fused Shadows to defeat Zant, who is evil, and save the Twilight Realm. Restoring the four Light Spirits of Hyrule, Link and Midna reassemble the Fused Shadows that had been broken up and hidden in the Forest Temple, Goron Mines, and Lakebed Temple, while finding Ilia and the children along the way. However, Zant then appears and takes the Fused Shadows, embeds a black crystal in Link's forehead (trapping him in his wolf form), and exposes Midna to the light of the Light Spirit Lanayru, critically injuring her. Link rushes Midna to Princess Zelda, who reveals that the only way Link can return to his normal form is to find the Master Sword. Zelda combines her heart with Midna's to heal her, allowing her to exist outside of the Twilight. After Link reaches the Master Sword, Zant's black crystal is forced out of him. Midna keeps the crystal, allowing Link to assume his wolf form at will.

Midna explains to Link that they need to find shards of the Mirror of Twilight. They adventure across Hyrule, to find the shards in the most dangerous parts of the world. Once the shards were put together into the Mirror of Twilight, Link continues his quest to find and defeat Zant once and for all. *When Link and Midna confront Zant in the Twilight Realm, he explains that he encountered Ganondorf while in a rage about being passed over as the king of the Twili. Ganondorf offered to make Zant's wishes come true, and made Zant a vessel for his power. A now furious Midna regains the Fused Shadows, and uses it to kill Zant.

Link and Midna travel to Hyrule Castle to confront and defeat Ganondorf. The battle between Link and Ganondorf is the most important battle in all of Hyrule history.

Game Play: Link progresses through the game by collecting items and searching dungeons to reach a final boss and defeating it. He uses a Hylian Sword and Shield and when needed, a Fairy Bow.

I was curious of the way the game worked before I bought the game. I was stunned to see a wave of your arm will trigger the slash attack. But once you got used to the controls, you would just flick your wrist to attack enemies. There are some moves where you obtain be seeking out the Spirit Wolf who will teach you the "Lost Arts". Some of these moves require you use "push" the nun chuck forward. About 80% of the time you attempt to use one of the attacks, they fail. But on the bright side, using the attacks are really fun.

Walking around is simple and easy, drawing out your sword can confuse you sometimes if you do not know if you are wielding it or not.

I hope this isn't getting to "Reviewish" >.>
